Who Am I?
I am learning to define myself not by what I do, but by who I am. I am a child of God and I am loved! I do a bunch of things, but none of them define me. I'd like you to consider me a friend-- the type who keeps it real and isn't trying to change you- just cares a lot about you. I want to write stuff about the One who created us and our relationship with Him.
What Do I Write About?
I hope that we can seek God together and look at who He says He is and who He's not. I also have a lot of stories to tell you about my own experiences and those of my friends and family who seek to follow Jesus. I'd like to share my love of God with you. Jesus is my Savior, not my religion, and I'd like us to get to know Him better together. To learn a religion, you study. To get to know a person, you tell stories, talk, listen, and enjoy shared experiences.
Why Would You Read It?
Have you ever struggled to understand the Bible or make sense of what's happening in the world or in your life? Have you ever wanted to know more about Jesus but been disappointed with Christianity, church, or church people?
Can we keep it simple?
God can be good even when circumstances are not, and because of this truth we always have hope. Life is better with a good friend, so let me introduce you to the best friend you could ever have!
